Therapy is a collaborative process, and finding the right therapist for you is key. We all need someone to talk to at different times in our lives. Therapy can be a non-judgmental space for you to discuss and process your story. My approach Based on your unique story, I employ various approaches centering on you as the client and your needs. Mindfulness is at the center of my practice. I believe that we all want to be listened to and understood, and that empathy can be the start to healing. My focus Whether you are grieving a loss, experiencing a traumatic bereavement, feeling anxious or depressed, or navigating a change, there is a safe place for you here. My communication style Clear, open communication is important to the therapeutic process. I create a safe and supportive environment for you to discuss your feelings and thoughts. My journey to mental healthcare My interest in working with grief and loss came from my own childhood story of grief. This led me to become a therapist and to the desire to help others through their most challenging times. My goals for you Therapy is a collaboration. Together we can help you to set and reach your goals. My first session with you In the first session, I will introduce myself and ask what brings you to therapy. You will be encouraged to tell your story. I know that first sessions can be difficult, therefore I work to make you as comfortable as possible so you feel safe to express yourself at your own pace.
