Psychotherapist
HI
Aloha, my name is Kelley Aiyana, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am based in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, and offer tele-therapy throughout Hawaii. I specialize in relationships and communication, sex therapy, and grief counseling for individuals and couples-including friends, adult parent and child, and all types of couples. I also work with depression, anxiety, and stress. I believe in client-centered therapy where you direct the process as I offer caring, non-judgmental support and insight. The meaning of Aloha goes deep; it literally means ?presence? (ALO) and ?breath? (HA). I hold a Master's in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, which has equipped me to support diverse client needs. My approach is eclectic, varying according to your needs. I have worked in many settings, including a community hospice and a federally funded medical clinic in Hawaii, where clients had diverse needs. I am committed to being fully present as we mindfully explore your thoughts and feelings. I have specialized training with individuals and couples facing relationship concerns such as miscommunications, conflicts, trust, intimacy, and sexuality. Many clients come alone or with their partner after one partner has gone outside the relationship, seeking clarity and insight about what happened and how to move forward. Others have questions about sexuality. I also see individuals and couples dealing with anxiety and/or depression. I especially like working with couples where one partner experiences these symptoms, as they often impact the relationship. Together, we learn ways to support the individual while strengthening the relationship. I bring a calming, supportive energy to my practice. I come from a place of knowing I don't have all the answers-this is a team effort. I listen non-judgmentally and walk alongside you with care and respect.
