Getting to know Kelli Rexroad

We cannot control everything that happens in our lives, but we can create more of a sense of calm within ourselves. My goal as a therapist is to cultivate a non-judgmental space where you can explore your authentic self and work collaboratively on personal goals. My specializations include working with LGBTQ+ clients, young adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples. I offer a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, Play therapy, and mindfulness techniques. My goal is to provide you with practical tools and strategies to understand yourself better and navigate life's challenges. When working with children, I create a safe and welcoming environment. I help children explore their emotions as well as learn tools to better self-regulate. When children cannot verbally express how they feel, they will show you instead. This can lead to behavioral challenges where children externalize their behavior. I help children identify these patterns and find coping skills to manage anxiety, anger, and sadness. Supporting them to develop emotional resilience, improve frustration tolerance, and learn calming strategies. As your therapist, I aim to support you in your journey towards growth and healing. I am available afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
