Psychotherapist
2221 W Olive Ave, Ste E, Burbank, CA
Hello, I'm Kellie Murry, LPCC, a licensed therapist specializing in anxiety, trauma, PTSD, perfectionism, people-pleasing, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. I work with adults who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by anxiety, constantly put others' needs before their own, struggle with boundaries, or find themselves stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Others come to therapy after experiencing trauma or difficult life events that continue to impact their relationships, confidence, and emotional well-being. Together, we create a safe, supportive space to explore these challenges and build lasting change. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I utilize evidence-based treatments including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic interventions, and trauma-informed care. My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to help clients develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and self-trust. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, chronic stress, burnout, or a major life transition, therapy can provide the support and tools needed to move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I believe meaningful healing happens when clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I offer therapy for adults throughout California via telehealth and in-person sessions in Burbank. I look forward to helping you take the next step toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they don't feel judged, rushed, or pressured to have everything figured out. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine, collaborative, and supportive while also helping clients make meaningful progress toward their goals. My style is warm, engaged, and compassionate, but I also believe therapy should be practical and empowering. I will help you better understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be contributing to your current struggles while providing tools and strategies you can use in your everyday life. Many of the people I work with are high-achieving, caring individuals who are used to taking care of others but struggle to extend that same compassion to themselves. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or a major life transition, we'll work together at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You don't have to show up with the "right" words or know exactly where to start. My role is to meet you where you are, help you make sense of what you're experiencing, and support you as you move toward greater confidence, self-trust, and emotional well-being.
