Welcome! I’m Kelly J. Ambrose, LCSW. I'm altruistic and a dedicated high-quality healthcare professional committed to assisting with your mental health needs. I have 9 yrs experience in diagnosing, treating, and supporting patients across diverse settings, and 13 years within the SW profession. I build trusting client relationships and will provide service & support for you as you travel your journey in life. We will work together to create an individualized treatment plan and utilize talk-therapy while we are on your road to mental health stability. I hope to see you soon! What should a new client know about working with you?

My areas of interest and age range include individuals age 6 and up, and I work with individuals regardless of diagnosis, disability, ethnicity, etc. I tend to gravitate to cognitive restructuring, balancing the 8 areas of wellness in one's life, and a plethora of other therapeutic interventions. What is your typical process for working with clients?

While session process may vary from patient to patient the overall typical session involves getting to know you, building rapport, and discussion on how you want to proceed with your treatment care. Your initial session is up to 1 hour long and we will discuss life background, trauma's you may have experienced, what you are wanting to address, and formulating a treatment plan that's tailored by you. After all, it is your time! You are in the driver's seat while I provide oversight, input, provide a plethora of treatment modalities, coping strategies, and providing support & encouragement along your journey. I offer a 15 minute free consultation to see if I would be a good fit for you.
