All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. Kelly Hays is an LCSW-S with a Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University of San Antonio, TX. She also holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, and Associate's degrees from St. Philip's College and Austin State Junior College. Kelly has been practicing Social Work since 1989. She is a retired Navy Hospital Corpsman and Army Social Work Officer Veteran, with over 30 years of experience serving in Family Advocacy, Hospice, Outpatient and Inpatient Mental Health, Physical Rehabilitation, Juvenile Probation, and Veteran Services. Kelly has facilitated the ?Life-After-Loss? program for the American Cancer Society and served as a Stephen Ministry Leader in two Lutheran congregations. Additionally, she has taught Sociology at Park University, Social Work at UTSA, and Medical Terminology at St. Philip's College.
