Getting to know Kelly Heher

The provider is a “Professional Counselor Associate" and their supervisor is Katie Keck. I work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, low self-worth, life transitions, and/or relationship struggles. I’ll support you in discovering your sense of self and the changes you want to make. Using nature-based and somatic approaches, along with Internal Family Systems (IFS), I honor the mind-body connection and cultivate self-awareness, resilience, and growth. It would be an honor to walk beside you on your healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a collaborative approach when working with clients. Meaning that you are a part of creating goals and dictating the direction of your counseling experience. I find that this is important for you to gain the most out of counseling.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When working with client I offer both in person and teleheallth sessions. I take the first couple of sessions to get to know you your goals and what your life experiences have been. Then together we will build goals. Throughout the remainder of our time working together we will work together on providing you with skills and tools and the ability to process past and current traumas and events. When working in-person I offer the ability to do sessions outside either walking or spending time in nature as way to help regulate and connect with the world around you as you take on challenging topics.
