Kelly Jude, LCSW

Psychotherapist
PA
Hi there, I'm Kelly! Hi! My name is Kelly Jude, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, which shapes my approach to therapy from both an individual and contextual lens. I explore your concerns from multiple perspectives and focus on the various pieces that make you, you. I help people feel better seen and heard in their lives. My approach I provide highly individualized care with a focus on rapport and trust. I care deeply for people struggling with hopelessness and shame. I have extensive training in depression, anxiety, personality challenges, eating habits, ADHD, and trauma. I'm an extensively trained clinician in trauma (PE, EMDR, CPT, TfCBT, and DBT), anxiety (EXRP, CBT, Exposure, Mindfulness), and mood disorders (MI, Strengths, CBT, Schema). I am heavily influenced by social justice and empowerment lenses. I am body-positive and a proponent of Health At Every Size. I am also a certified meditation teacher. I specialize in treating challenges related to identity (race, sex, orientation, gender, financial, ability, ethnicity, spirituality, body type, etc.), adjustment, anxiety, and shame. My focus I work to make people feel more comfortable in their skin and for therapy to be less intimidating. I connect well with those who feel misunderstood, misinterpreted, marginalized, awkward, and/or have had the experience of feeling or being the ?Black Sheep.? I connect well with people who want to find their identity, desire acceptance, need practical coping skills, and/or come from family backgrounds rooted in violence, trauma, and/or neglect. People who are overdue for safety and support. My communication style My goal is to help your authenticity grow, which inevitably creates less suffering. Being real, therapy takes courage. Nonjudgmentalness, genuine acceptance, accountability, warmth, trust, and humor are the main pathways of support from me.
