Life can be hard. Sometimes we feel like we are falling into the same old patterns and asking ourselves the same unhelpful questions. This can be difficult because we often get stuck here rather than finding the growth and progress we desire. As a therapist with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Kentucky University, my hope is to help you better understand this feeling of "stuckness" and the various factors that lead us to this space. I like to explore generational traumas through the lens of attachment theory and help clients find a sense of empowerment in breaking cycles and establishing healthier ways to interact with themselves and others. I want to work with clients on addressing these challenges in session to help them feel more in control of themselves and break away from the endless cycles we can find ourselves in. This can be hard to do because it requires looking at things that are scary and unknown, but as your therapist, I am here to support you through that process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After the first session, I want my clients to know that I see you. I want to be present with you as we work to examine the various stuck points within your life, the context of your trauma, and how we can change the narrative of that experience. In time, I want clients to see that through our relationship and the therapy experience, having a healthy relationship is possible. Additionally, I desire my clients to learn to open ourselves up to others and maintain our sense of self.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
