Kelly believes that everyone has strengths inside them to deal with problems and changes in life. She uses a strengths perspective to help children and adults as they face challenges. Kelly earned her Master's in Social Work from Florida State University and has been trained in motivational interviewing. She has vast expertise in end-of-life and grief work for children and adults, as well as experience with military culture and veterans.
Kelly moved to Georgia in 2013. She is married with two adult children. In her spare time, you'll find her playing with her dog, attending live concerts, or relaxing at the beach or in the mountains.

My appointment today was with Kelly Thorpe and she is the best therapist I’ve ever had. Now let’s hope they don’t change her to where I have to start all over again working on emotional health to tell my life all over again. When get comfortable with the therapist and start to get things straight I used to get told by other doctors oh well your going to have to start over with so and so. That’s my experience over the last 26 years and still haven’t gotten worked on my mental state from things that happened when I was younger.
