Getting to know Kellyn Roiko

Hi there, I'm Kellyn. Most of us just want to be seen and heard but often do not have the support or space in our life to do so. I hope to help you take the step in being better understood, heard, and seen through providing a compassionate presence for you to feel and process your emotions and experiences without judgment. I am passionate about working with teens and adults who are faced with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief/loss, and/or life changes. Background-wise, I have a Master's in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Colorado and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Iowa, Florida, Texas and Colorado. I have experience working in schools, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and hospice care. Drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I offer a trauma-informed and empowering approach to support you in creating and attaining your goals for your mental health. Basically, I will be there to listen but also help you move forward towards change confidently!
