Getting to know Kelsey Hojan-Clark

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health (LACMH), working under the supervision of Dr. Christina Taylor with Hope Rising Health Services. I believe self-awareness is a powerful step toward self-acceptance and lasting change. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as we explore what might be getting in the way of your growth. With empathy at the core of my work, I aim to empower each client to navigate their unique experiences with confidence and compassion.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, while also drawing from psychoanalytic insight, cognitive and behavioral strategies, and other evidence-based practices to meet your individual needs. I believe that people are more than a diagnosis or label assigned to them. Together, we can work to uncover patterns, build resilience, and move toward the version of yourself you’re ready to become.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I welcome the opportunity to work with you virtually to uncover what’s blocking you from reaching your full potential.

Very thoughtful and caring. Great listener. So knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
Kelsey is fantastic! She is warm, empathetic, kind, and knowledgeable.
Kelsey was very nice and positive. But she offered me no reason to keep seeing her other than if I talked about my issues with her she could share my burden. I think that she is too young and inexperienced to help anyone in my age range. I left the appt feeling worse than before it. She gave me no useful skills or readings or tools to move forward.
