Hello, I'm Kelsie. Our lives are always changing, whether it's getting a new job, getting married or divorced, starting a new relationship, having kids, or any other significant milestone. As your counselor, I will help you learn the tools and skills you need to confront life's stressors and challenge negative thoughts. I graduated in 2017 with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and am now a Licensed Professional Counselor. My primary focus is working with adults, utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. My experience includes working in a psychiatric hospital, where I supported individuals in crisis experiencing active suicidal or homicidal thoughts and psychosis. Additionally, I have worked in an outpatient program providing group counseling to individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. I specialize in a range of areas, including ADHD, bipolar disorder, adolescent and teen mental and behavioral health, grief and bereavement, OCD, phobias, PTSD, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, addiction, multicultural and diversity issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, anger management, family relationships, intimate and romantic relationships, and trauma. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Working with me means embarking on a journey towards self-discovery and healing.
