What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session is about connection. I’ll take time to understand what’s bringing you in, what you hope for, and how we can best work together. We'll complete an intake, but most of the session is focused on your story and your goals. From there, sessions are a dynamic, collaborative process. We’ll talk through your experiences, uncover emotional patterns, and explore tools and strategies to help you shift into a more empowered, grounded version of yourself. I view each session as part of a bigger picture — each one moving us closer to the life and relationships you want. Depending on your needs, I may offer reflections, somatic work, structured exercises, or homework to help reinforce change between sessions. Therapy is both a space for healing and a catalyst for transformation — and together, we’ll build a path forward that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is all about connection. We’ll slow down, get to know each other, and explore what’s bringing you in—whether it's past trauma, relationship challenges, or a desire to feel more like yourself again. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, patterns, and goals, and you’ll have space to share at your own pace. From there, sessions are collaborative and grounded in trust. You can expect a mix of deep emotional work and practical tools. I use trauma-informed approaches like EMDR, AEDP, and Imago Therapy to help you process what’s stuck and reconnect to your core self. If we’re working as a couple, we’ll focus on healing emotional blocks, improving communication, and creating the kind of relationship you both want. Each session is tailored to your needs—sometimes we talk, sometimes we pause and feel, sometimes we go deeper into memory or body awareness. I’ll guide you, but we move at your pace. This is your time, your space, and your journey toward real change.
