What should a new client know about working with you?

With over six years of experience in the mental health field, Kemba has worked with individuals across the lifespan, from young children to older adults (ages 4–78). She has supported clients in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, schools, residential treatment, substance use and dual diagnosis programs, and outpatient levels of care. This breadth of experience allows her to meet clients wherever they are in their healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Kemba's approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and relational. She integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches—including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt therapy, mindfulness, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy—to support clients in understanding their experiences, building resilience, and reconnecting with their own strengths.
