TN
Ken is a licensed mental health therapist and certified mental health coach, a devout Christian, a loving husband, and a trauma survivor. He has made it his life's mission to help others find peace and purpose through faith-based counseling. He earned his Bachelor's degree in addictions and psychology from Liberty University and holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University, where he also concentrated in chemical dependency. Ken's professional journey includes six years at Kettering Health Psychiatric Hospital in Dayton, OH. Now residing in Chattanooga, TN, Ken provides teletherapy and coaching services. He and his wife love to travel and immerse themselves in different cultural experiences. They are animal lovers, cherishing the company of their three cats-Remi, Mozzie, and Zella. Ken set out on his prodigal journey around the age of 16, chasing indulgence and gratification and losing sight of God's purpose for his life. In his 20s, he faced painful personal loss and trauma. The sudden death of his mother from heart complications due to cardiomyopathy, followed by his sister's fatal drug overdose, deeply affected him. At 26, Ken survived a devastating car accident that left him in a coma for three weeks and caused multiple injuries, including two strokes and two brain injuries. This period marked a turning point in his life, leading him to embrace spiritual, physical, cognitive, emotional, and social rehabilitation. These experiences have profoundly shaped Ken's empathetic approach to counseling. Through his rehabilitation and education, he realized the purpose God had designed him to accomplish. Now, he specializes in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues and is skilled at helping individuals develop effective behavior and communication patterns. Life's challenges have taught Ken many lessons that he uses to guide his practice.
