Kendal'Spirit Jackson, LPC

Psychotherapist
IL
What I love most about my work as a therapist is the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families on their journeys to healing, growth, and connection. I’m dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally attuned care in a safe, nonjudgmental space where my clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I earned my graduate degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and my undergraduate degree from Syracuse University. My approach is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Liberation Psychology, somatic interventions, play therapy for younger clients, Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. I've received additional training in providing neurodivergent affirming care to children and adults and certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Throughout my career, I’ve worked with diverse populations, including young children, teens, adults, parents, Black and Brown clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples and first-generation persons. I understand the unique challenges of navigating cultural expectations, systemic pressures, and personal identity, and I create a safe space for clients to explore and process these experiences. I am intentional about creating an inclusive and welcoming practice for all clients. I look forward to providing my clients with tailored support to help build resilience and create meaningful change.
