Hello, I am Kendra Aristide, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I hold a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. I bring over twenty years of combined experience working in judicial mental health counseling and public education as a former elementary classroom teacher and school counselor. Additionally, I have worked in group homes and hospices as a licensed social worker.
I focus on collaboration, empathy, and providing a non-judgmental attitude. Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and obstacles, adapting therapeutic tools to address and process your specific needs. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, grief, coping challenges, school issues, self-esteem concerns, anger management, depression, trauma, or PTSD, we will develop empowering strategies and insights that foster resilience and create a more fulfilling life.
What should a new client know about working with you?
As we move towards the paths of growth and healing, clients will be treated with respect, and professionally and encouraged to speak freely about their problems. The first session will be aimed at getting to know each other and establishing goals for how we will proceed. This is a challenging process for many; however, our goal is to improve the client's mental health, well-being, and overall wellness to make the client feel better.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
