Kendra’s goal for each of her clients is that they live a full and beautiful life. The three pillars of Kendra’s approach are Self-collaboration, Values, and Rest. Self-collaboration means approaching yourself from a stance of honoring who you are. Kendra also loves values and sees them as the root of all human behavior and emotion. For example, any time you feel angry, scared, or anxious that is your threat system trying to protect something you value from a perceived attack. Finally, Kendra emphasizes the importance of rejuvenating rest. Rejuvenating rest (not vegging out!) supports long term goals. Let’s do this!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal for our work together is to help you live a full and beautiful life. My approach to therapy is built on three core pillars: Self-collaboration: This means approaching yourself from a stance of honoring exactly who you are. Values-Driven Insight: I believe values are the root of all human behavior and emotion. When you feel angry, scared, or anxious, we will explore how your threat system is trying to protect something you deeply value from a perceived attack. Rejuvenating Rest: We will emphasize the importance of rest that truly restores you—distinct from just "vegging out"—to support your long-term goals and overall well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once we have a foundation of self-collaboration, we look at the "root" of your experiences. We will identify your core values to understand why you feel the way you do. We will look at your anger, anxiety, or fear not as "problems," but as signals. We will identify exactly what value your mind is trying to protect from a perceived attack. We explore how your current actions align (or clash) with your deepest values. we transition from "healing" to "thriving." You will use the tools of self-collaboration, values-alignment, and rest to navigate life's challenges independently.
