Over the years; my professional path has included work within the child welfare system. I worked at Loretto Hospital - mental health unit as the Director of Social Work. I have approached my work with an understanding of how trauma; systemic stressors; and life experiences can shape emotional well-being; relationships; and behavior.I have also provided individual and couples therapy as well as telehealth therapy allowing clients to access care in ways that feel safer and more accessible for them. I have with at Illinois DCFS as a child protection worker - protecting the voiceless from abuse and neglect.
