What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm a relational psychotherapist with significant life experience. I have worked in biotech and hitech. I have advanced skills in mediation, resolving conflicts, and helping couples, families and coparents develop greater closeness and partnership.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At MACS, we believe that weekly therapy is important for progress and growth. Thus we start by seeing clients at least weekly until symptoms stabilize. Then, over time, we transition to twice per month than monthly. In a first session, I will work with the client to get their biographical background information, pertinent social and medical history and the circumstances of the presenting problem. Over the first 1-2 sessions, we will develop goals for therapy.
