Kensey Rhodes, LPC

Psychotherapist
CT
Anxieties, negative thought patterns, and feelings of disconnection can prevent you from living the life you envision for yourself and deserve. My practice is built upon the idea that "we are all just walking each other home." I believe we were not meant to live in a vacuum and that having someone in your corner as you navigate life's challenges is imperative for success. I have experience working with children and adults, and my goal is always to be a safe, encouraging, and grounding presence for clients. Through genuine curiosity and radical acceptance, we can write a powerful story of self-love and harmony for your life. I believe that your body reflects your emotional state. I hold certifications in complex trauma and DBT and have extensive experience working with mindfulness and somatics through yoga teacher training and the Embody Lab. These modalities allow us to approach issues holistically. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, which has deepened my commitment to compassionate, client-centered care. Please know that all bodies and presentations are valued and welcome.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
