What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect a balanced approach that is both supportive and goal-oriented. I value open communication and create a space where you can speak honestly without fear of judgment. While therapy can involve challenging work, sessions are paced thoughtfully and tailored to your needs. I integrate structured skill-building with reflection and insight, helping you better understand patterns, manage emotions effectively, and develop tools you can use outside of sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session focuses on understanding what brings you to therapy, your history, and your goals. We will identify key areas of concern and begin developing a treatment plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. In ongoing sessions, we track progress, strengthen coping strategies, and adjust interventions as needed. Therapy may include skill development, cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation work, relapse prevention planning (when applicable), and improving communication patterns. My goal is to ensure you leave sessions feeling supported and equipped with tools that extend beyond the therapy room.
