Hi there, I'm Ker! A big part of my therapeutic process involves emotional processing, acknowledging your feelings and learning how to move through them with compassion. Why? Because acknowledging your feelings helps you gain clarity on your wants and needs and moves you in a direction that honors you. My approach I draw from a blend of Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), attachment theory, relational therapy, strength-based approaches, humanistic principles, and solution-focused techniques. This integrative approach allows me to meet you where you are and support you in meaningful, lasting change. My focus I specialize in working with adult individuals navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, repeated unhealthy relationship patterns, low self-esteem, and unresolved trauma, whether emotional, physical, or sexual. Many of my clients come to me during times of transition, such as a breakup, divorce, or identity crisis. Others struggle with impostor syndrome, overwhelming guilt or shame, intimacy issues (especially with men), or feeling like their emotions are "too much." My communication style My approach is humanistic and collaborative. I connect with you on a genuine, human level while offering honest feedback and thoughtful guidance. My journey to mental healthcare It all started when I found myself in a?n unhealthy relationship, and I ?w?as desperate for help. ?That desperation sparked a journey that led me to pursue my graduate studies in 2014 at Alliant International Universit?y. ?At the time, I hoped it would help me fix the relationship?, but instead, I came to a painful yet powerful truth: some relationships can’t be repaired.?One belief I live by is this: Choose what brings you joy, and let go of what brings you pain. That simple truth has guided me in both my personal healing and professional path.
