Getting to know Kerry Little
Peace. Happiness. Love. Success. We seek them. As we see them within reach, we are knocked down by life's challenges. Instead, we find anxiety, sadness, grief, trauma, loss, and failure. I know this well, from my own life and my clients'. It doesn't matter where you are. I've worked with celebrity clients, gold medal athletes, businesspeople, housewives, families, adolescents, those lost to substance use, and men serving life in prison. It is possible to navigate life's dangerous waters, but you need a guide. I am that guide. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University and bring over three decades of experience as a husband, father, grandfather, youth pastor, counselor, and university professor. I've worked in church, private practice (Florida and the Bahamas), community mental health (crisis and at-risk adolescents), foster care, substance abuse, juvenile justice, and prisons. I've stayed relevant by teaching at the university level, advising a best-selling author on psychological aspects, and consulting for mental health agencies. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, anger, parenting issues, challenging children and teens, grief, trauma, substance use, family and relationship concerns, LGBT issues, and more. I've helped clients find peace with themselves, others, and their situations; happiness amid loss; belonging and love in healthy relationships; and increased success by changing their thinking. A foundation of my work comes from M. Scott Peck in The Road Less Traveled: “Life is difficult. This is a great truth... Life is a series of problems. Do we want to moan about them or solve them? Do we want to teach our children to solve them?” Let’s start today to solve some of life’s problems and begin to grasp peace, happiness, love, and success.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
