Getting to know Kevin Biemuller

I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating substance use challenges and mental health concerns. At True Path to Wellness, I work collaboratively with Erin Sharp, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, to offer comprehensive telehealth services across Florida, including medication-assisted treatment, psychiatric medication management, and recovery-focused therapy. My therapeutic approach integrates Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and person-centered care to support meaningful, lasting change. I strive to meet every patient exactly where they are, offering a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore goals, strengthen resilience, and build a healthier, more stable future.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients can expect a supportive, straightforward, and collaborative experience. My approach is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practices, and a genuine commitment to helping you feel better—not judged, rushed, or talked over. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and actively involved in your own care. I use a combination of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and person-centered techniques to help you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create realistic steps toward change. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, boundaries, or substance use, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable while still moving toward meaningful progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is structured, collaborative, and designed to help you feel supported from the very first session. We begin by discussing your concerns, symptoms, history, and goals so I can fully understand what brings you in. I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your challenges, strengths, and what you hope to change. Together, we identify immediate priorities—whether that’s reducing anxiety, improving mood, addressing substance use, strengthening boundaries, or developing healthier coping strategies. In ongoing sessions, you can expect a blend of talk therapy and practical skill-building. I typically draw from Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and person-centered approaches. Sessions may focus on exploring patterns, processing emotions, setting goals, and creating actionable steps that support stability and long-term wellness. I provide structure and guidance, but sessions remain collaborative and tailored to your style and needs. If medication management is appropriate, I coordinate closely with my clinical partner, Erin Sharp, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, who provides psychiatric evaluation and prescribing. This ensures you receive comprehensive, integrated care while maintaining a seamless therapeutic experience. Above all, my goal is to create a safe, grounded space where you can talk openly, gain insight, and build meaningful, lasting change.
