Getting to know Keyunda Washington
My passion is rooted in working with youth and adults who may face life challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and culturally specific barriers experienced in the BIPOC community. Although my primary approach to helping others address these hardships is cognitive and behavioral, I believe integrating techniques tailored to the individual is optimal for meaningful change. I also recognize that mental health is interconnected with physical and spiritual well-being. Therefore, my focus is to help clients align these elements for improved overall health.
I enjoy helping others embrace their power, and one of the most impactful ways to do that is through a shift in thought processes. This shift significantly influences how we react and the emotions we experience. I will walk alongside you on that journey, providing a safe environment that encourages exploration and growth.

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support clients effectively.
