I’m Dr. Kia Everett, affectionately known as Dr. K—Your Mental Health Medic and Doctor of Hope. I am committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassionate, results-driven, and faith-informed care when it matters most. With more than 30 years of experience in mental health and human services, I bring a unique combination of clinical expertise, leadership experience, lived experience, faith-based insight, and practical strategies to the healing process. My approach is designed to help people find stability in difficult moments, heal from painful experiences, strengthen their emotional well-being, and move forward with renewed hope and confidence. My educational and professional background includes a Doctorate in Christian Counseling, a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling, graduate degrees in Human Services and Public Service Leadership, extensive ministerial credentials, and professional licensure to provide clinical services in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Florida, including telehealth services as permitted by state regulations. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of walking alongside thousands of individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging and transformative seasons. My work is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: no matter how difficult the moment, healing is possible, hope can be restored, and there is always a way forward. More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
