I believe a strong relationship between the counselor and the client fosters an environment for positive change. A person's faith is a foundational piece that aids in the healing of physical, mental, and emotional issues or trauma. As we begin to delicately restructure each piece of your life, clients can embark on their journey of self-exploration and work toward their desired change. Let me help you learn and develop meaningful ways to handle the issues standing in the way of your goals. I have specialized training in perinatal mental health that focuses on women and even fathers struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. My mission is to educate, strengthen, and empower moms so they may flourish and grow with the confidence to approach daily parenting challenges without self-doubt. Throughout my journey with PPD, a strong foundation in my relationship with God and talking to someone produced the most change. My experience helped me put the pieces back together and truly understand what it's like to be on the other side of the couch. This journey motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a career. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support others through their healing process.
