Kim Dwyer, LCSW

Psychotherapist
PA
Do you feel disconnected from life, work, or relationships? I work with teens, young adults, and parents to build on their strengths and break unhelpful patterns. My goal as a therapist is to help clients develop skills to reach their goals and feel successful in all areas of their lives. I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective to process and work through trauma that may be affecting your current functioning. Creating links between the past and present can be helpful in moving forward. I also enjoy working with parents to develop tools and strategies to manage challenging behaviors with their child or teen. Using attachment theories to explore patterns, I work to strengthen relationships within families. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
