My focus I work with adults and older adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, and the challenges of aging, as well as career and life transitions. I provide a supportive, collaborative space to help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and navigate change with greater confidence and emotional well-being. My approach I incorporate a blend of evidence‑based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution‑Focused Therapy, Trauma‑Informed Care, and Strength‑Based Therapy. I value a holistic approach to healing and often integrate grounding and mind‑body exercises to support emotional regulation, resilience, and overall wellbeing. I listen actively, summarize key themes, and ask thoughtful questions to deepen insight and understanding. When appropriate, I incorporate humor to foster connection, comfort, and perspective throughout the therapeutic process. My journey to mental healthcare I earned my MSW from Cal State University, Long Beach in 1998 and for nearly 30 years, I have served in adoptions, foster care, hospice, healthcare, developmental disabilities, leadership, and at-risk youth programs. I became an LCSW in 2023 to expand my expertise in helping individuals achieve greater balance, resilience, and emotional well-being. My goals for you I help clients achieve their goals through a collaborative, structured approach that includes psychoeducation, individualized treatment planning, practical coping tools, and skill-building
