If trauma from your past still shows up in your present — in your relationships, your emotions, or your sense of self — you’re not alone. Many people find themselves struggling with communication, trust, betrayal, or feeling stuck despite their best efforts to move forward. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy using EMDR, an evidence-based treatment that helps the brain fully process painful experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming. I help individuals and couples reduce trauma symptoms, regulate a trauma-impacted nervous system, and build healthier, more secure connection. Healing is possible. If your past still feels heavy, you don’t have to carry it alone. With the right support, you can feel more present, more secure, and more fulfilled. I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I work with adults and couples who may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship struggles, past trauma, or difficult life transitions. I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and empowering, while also helping clients create meaningful and lasting change. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, attachment-focused work, and parts work to help clients better understand themselves, process painful experiences, and develop healthier patterns. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival mode and build greater self-awareness, connection, and emotional healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process with clients begins with creating a safe, supportive space where we can better understand your experiences, goals, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Early sessions focus on building trust, increasing emotional awareness, and identifying the underlying roots of distress rather than only addressing surface symptoms. From there, we work collaboratively using approaches such as EMDR, CBT, attachment-focused therapy, and parts work to process trauma, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and create lasting change. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and pace, with the goal of helping clients feel more connected, grounded, and empowered in their daily lives.
