I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego, and I am passionate in helping children and families identify and acquire their social-emotional needs to improve self-worth, quality of relationships, and fulfillment in life. My approach emphasizes individuality, cultural responsiveness, personal experiences, and unique background to ensure that treatment is tailored to the specific needs of my client.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I value trust and connection with my clients. In our first session, you can expect to introduce yourself and get to know me. My priority is to create a safe, nonjudgemental space for you to share your reason for coming to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. The first steps may be intimidating, and I will be alongside you in full support.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions are 57 minutes long with frequency of 1 visit per week to start. For children 5 - 12, I require that parents join the intake session to provide information for assessment purposes. Parents of minors will routinely be involved in therapy to optimize treatment outcomes unless otherwise specified.
