Welcome and thank you for reaching out! I know how hard it can be to take this step, and I want you to feel proud for taking the initiative to help yourself with whatever you are experiencing. Therapy is a gift you give yourself, and it is something from which all of us can benefit. If you could heal faster and deeper while learning along the way, why wouldn’t you? I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University and more than 20 years of experience caring for individuals and their families, ages 5-95, in various settings such as hospice, hospitals, schools, and homes. I enjoy working collaboratively with adult clients to build relationships based on mutual trust. I have a passion for helping clients navigate life changes and personal challenges. My areas of focus include supporting major life adjustments such as aging, declining health or chronic illness, depression, anxiety, separation/divorce, recovery, parenting and co-parenting, aging or ill loved ones, social justice issues, cultural conflicts within families, grief and loss, and more. No matter what difficulties you face, I am here to partner with you to get through them together. Now more than ever, we all need someone who can truly hear us and offer unbiased support and guidance. Together, we will identify your goals and work to achieve them in therapy. Whether that includes increasing self-esteem, self-worth, self-confidence, or improving decision-making skills, therapy is a great place to work through these areas and more. I use an integrative style of therapy tailored to your needs. This might include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and a variety of skill-building exercises for stress management, mindfulness, and coping strategies. Previous clients have described me as very easy to talk to, supportive, non-judgmental, compassionate, and down to earth.
