Psychotherapist
ME
Hi there, I'm Kim! I am a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), based in Montville, Maine, serving clients statewide via Telehealth. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Prescott College. Through person-centered therapy-where you lead the conversation-expressive arts, and mindfulness practices, I support you in moving beyond anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and life transitions. Together, we explore new, more adaptive perspectives tailored to your individual goals and needs. We may use images, movement, or music to help you understand and process your concerns. Often, by intuitively engaging in expressive or mindful actions, you'll find relief from worries and discover solutions to problems. My approach Healing looks different for everyone, shaped by personality, identity, culture, and personal history. Your needs evolve over time and shift with life's changes. I believe you are the expert on what's right for you. Some people prefer a logical, problem-solving approach; others benefit from emotional, intuitive methods. If I had to name my therapeutic style, it would be person-centered-I follow and focus on your needs in the moment. My focus I work primarily with adults, mostly women, who want to better understand themselves, take charge of their lives, and find effective ways to overcome obstacles to happiness and success. Perhaps you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or life transitions and haven't yet found support that fits. My clients often have unique communication styles and are open to using a variety of methods, including mindfulness activities, image-making or observation, and listening to or creating music.
