Therapist | LMHC: I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of collaboration. A therapist and client need to work together to help the client achieve their goals. Through a client-centered approach, I provide my clients a safe environment to share their thoughts and feelings. We will explore the issues on hand together and identify opportunities to help them meet their goals. I provide my clients with the tools to help them move forward and live a happier life. My Professional Background: I obtained my Master's in Counseling at Alabama A&M University and am currently a Doctoral Candidate at Barry University. Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in community settings providing counseling to youth and families since 2017. I have many years of training and experience as a trauma and grief therapist. I have worked with clients who have been victims of both individual and communal traumas. I also help clients who struggle with anger, stress, depression, medical issues, depersonalization/derealization, and family conflicts. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
