Getting to know Kimberly Brownridge

Hello, my name is Kimberly Brownridge, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University and a Master's in General Psychology from Capella University Campus Center. I LOVE working with couples fighting to strengthen their relationship or marriage. I have experience working with clients navigating the single life, in relationships, pre-marital, and marriage counseling. I am also experienced in dealing with depression, trying new ways to help manage symptoms, and learning new coping skills. I also counsel in other areas, including women's concerns, spiritual care, parenting concerns, career, and LGBTQ issues. My counseling style is solution-focused. The focus of our sessions will be the specific and current situation, emphasizing the coping skills already possessed by the client and teaching new coping skills. My approach is also person-centered since the client is the expert on their life. I look forward to taking the journey to peace of mind with you.
