Kimberly Bryce, LCSWA

Psychotherapist
NC
I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, burnout, or major life transitions and want support making sense of what they’re going through. Many clients reach out when their usual ways of coping are no longer effective and they feel unsure how to move forward. I provide a supportive and structured space to explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors contributing to distress while building healthier, more effective ways of responding. My approach is grounded in culturally responsive, evidence-based care, with a focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

Getting to know Kimberly Bryce

I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, burnout, or major life transitions and want support making sense of what they’re going through. Many clients reach out when their usual ways of coping are no longer effective and they feel unsure how to move forward. I provide a supportive and structured space to explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors contributing to distress while building healthier, more effective ways of responding. My approach is grounded in culturally responsive, evidence-based care, with a focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect a supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented experience. I balance empathy with structure, helping you feel heard while also working toward practical solutions. Therapy with me focuses not only on understanding what’s contributing to your current challenges, but also on building skills you can use in your daily life. My approach is culturally responsive and tailored to your individual needs. I primarily work with concerns related to anxiety, stress, burnout, and life transitions, and I aim to help you develop insight, improve emotional regulation, and shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck. We will move at a pace that feels manageable while still making meaningful progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first few sessions focus on understanding your current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. From there, we work together to identify goals and create a clear direction for our work. In ongoing sessions, we explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical strategies to manage stress and navigate challenges more effectively. Sessions are both reflective and skill-based, helping you build awareness while also learning tools you can apply outside of therapy.
