Kimberly Fleischer, MA, LPC - S

Psychotherapist
190 E Russell, Rhome, TX
Life can be difficult, and everyone deserves to have someone to listen and support them. My goal as a counselor is to help you as you face life's challenges by providing a listening ear, kind words of encouragement, and sometimes even a push to get you past difficult obstacles. Unfortunately, I don't have a magic wand or a quick fix. However, if you are ready to make some changes, I am ready and willing to be your partner and guide. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, and I earned my Master's in School Counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler. I have served as a counselor in school and non-profit settings for the past five years. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through both individual and group counseling. My approach is based on Solution-Focused techniques that help work through issues with an end goal in mind while focusing on the strengths my clients already possess. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral techniques that focus on identifying and improving the negative thinking that sometimes prevents people from moving forward. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, major changes in life, and parenting. However, I enjoy the challenge of working with all types of clients. I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you! "If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." ~ Wayne Dyer
