What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can can expect a deeply relational and respectful therapy space where authenticity is valued and emotional safety is prioritized. I approach therapy as a partnership—I bring the clinical expertise, but you bring the lived experience of your life, and together we co-create meaningful change. My approach is not about fixing you; it’s about helping you access and express your most authentic self, so you can build relationships that truly nourish you. For couples, the process begins with a 75-minute joint session to understand the relationship dynamics and shared goals. This is followed by individual 50-minute sessions with each partner, giving space for personal insight and background, before resuming joint 50-minute sessions. This phased structure helps create a balanced and informed approach where both individual and relational needs are honored. I am especially skilled at helping clients who may feel emotionally overwhelmed or shut down in relationships, those who are healing from past relational trauma, and people who long for deeper emotional intimacy but don’t quite know how to get there. You can expect gentle honesty, warmth, and skillful guidance as you do the courageous work of healing. Sessions with me are focused, intentional, and designed to get to the heart of the matter—while honoring your pace every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapy process is both structured and personalized, designed to support meaningful change while honoring each client’s individual journey. In your first sessions, we will work together to explore your goals and the patterns that are keeping you stuck—whether in a romantic relationship, family dynamic, or within yourself. For individuals, this means exploring your attachment history, emotional responses, and internal narratives while also building practical skills for emotional regulation and communication. For couples, I follow a clear, intentional process: beginning with a 75-minute joint session to map out patterns and clarify what each partner hopes to change. Next, she meets individually with each partner for one 50-minute session to better understand their personal histories, attachment styles, and emotional needs. After that, couples resume 50-minute joint sessions focused on building connection, improving communication, and co-creating healthier relational habits. Throughout the process, I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Developmental Theory, and practical communication techniques to help clients better understand their roles in the relationship and foster greater emotional resilience with themselves and each other. I offers insight, reflection, and tools tailored to each client’s developmental stage and life context. Whether you're seeking therapy for long-standing issues or recent changes, I can help you approach your life and relationships with more clarity, curiosity, and confidence.
