My background includes working with the HIV/AIDS population, Oncology diagnoses , LGTBQIA+ and BIPOC communities and the medical social work field. Background experience with teen behavioral and adult support groups. Some of the techniques I use in therapy sessions are Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Strength-Based therapies and Solution Focused. These technique have been effective in helping clients dealing with anxiety, chronic illness, grief, and life transitions.
