As a Licensed Independent Social Worker, I specialize in helping individuals navigate through life’s most challenging times. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care. I focus on empowering my clients to achieve their goals and develop strategies for lasting change. My therapeutic style is rooted in empathy and collaboration with a strong belief that everyone can grow and overcome obstacles with the right support. My practice is client-centered and integrative, combining CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. My practice focuses on adolescents and adults and looks to serve the following: anxiety and stress management, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, crisis counseling, and suicide prevention. I strive to provide a safe space for clients to share in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I have always loved to talk! In fact, as a child, my father told me that if I didn’t stop talking so much, I would run out of words! I knew I had to find a career that married my two favorite activities - talking and helping others. I have been a crisis counselor with a suicide prevention/mental health crisis hotline for the past 24 years and love being able to help others in crisis. My goals for you! I am here to support my clients in setting and reaching goals. Together, we will find and develop the necessary tools to achieve your goals. My first session with you; I like to view the first sessions as a meet and greet. Just as I am going to ask questions to get to know more about you, your reasons for seeking therapy, and your goals, I hope you ask a bunch of questions about me.
