Psychotherapist
OH
"Hello, I'm Kimberly. I am driven by a deep desire to support individuals struggling with their mental health, as well as the families who love them. My journey in mental health care has allowed me to work with people aged 4 to 84, addressing challenges such as substance use disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, conduct disorder, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I believe in a compassionate, inclusive approach to therapy, where every individual feels heard and valued. My work is grounded in the principles of social justice, and I am passionate about advocating for equity and education to foster inclusivity in our community. I hold multiple degrees from Wright State University, including an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management. I am a dually licensed clinical counselor (LPCC-S and LICDC-CS), and my professional journey has seen me serve in various roles, from case manager and therapist to clinical supervisor, manager, and director of community-based programs. I also enjoy running group therapy sessions, supervising students as they grow in their counseling careers, and developing programs to support parents attempting to reunite with their children impacted by substance use. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and empathetic environment where we work collaboratively to navigate life's challenges. Whether you are dealing with addiction, navigating a life transition, or seeking support for a family relationship, I am here to help. My approach is tailored to meet your unique needs, and I am committed to helping you find the path to healing and growth. Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted mom to three kids and love spending quality time with my family. You might find us playing board games, hiking, or simply enjoying each other's company. I also have a passion for animals, spending time outdoors, running, knitting, and diving into research articles.
