I hold a Master of Science in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Capital University, where I graduated Cum Laude in 1996. I've been an Independent Social Worker - Supervisor for the State of Ohio since 1994, and my journey in social work has taken me through various impactful roles. I have extensive experience working in different areas of social work, including a significant tenure with the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, where I served as the Recovery Services supervisor for 11.5 years, providing treatment to 2800 female inmates. Additionally, I was the Mental Health Director at CRSI in Urbana, Ohio. For the past three years, I have been running my private practice, and I've supervised mental health and substance abuse treatment for nearly 20 years. In my practice, I provide evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, paralleling scripture with treatment to offer a holistic approach.
