Getting to know Kimberly Smith
Let's work together to bring joy back into your life. Sometimes, we go through hardships we never thought would be part of our journey. Perhaps you have lost a loved one through death or abandonment. Maybe you have experienced trauma, abuse, or depression. These challenges can make you feel like the sun will never shine again. I love helping people sail across the dark and stormy skies of trauma because when the storms clear, life can be truly joyful.
My primary purpose as a counselor is to help my clients face insurmountable life obstacles. Through my relational, empathetic, and nonjudgmental counseling style, I walk alongside my clients through their anguish and suffering to help them find a life of joy amidst the storms of life. I have significant experience with abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, abandonment, stress, negative thinking, and self-identity.
I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling from Walden University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.
