I am the owner of Tranquility Therapy Services LLC in Lake City, Florida. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University and am a nationally certified clinical mental health counselor and qualified supervisor, licensed in Florida for several years. My client experience includes individuals as young as 3 and as old as 106, addressing a wide range of concerns such as life transitions like career changes, empty nesting, divorce, and more. Additionally, I have experience managing a residential community-based program for adolescents in addiction recovery and respite care. This work has involved close collaboration with families in the dependency system dealing with abuse, neglect, and other issues related to children in foster care and the judicial system. My counseling style is friendly, warm, and interactive. I believe in treating clients with respect regardless of their past, incorporating sensitivity and compassion. My approach is eclectic and client-centered, tailored to what best suits each individual. It includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My goal is to help individuals and families develop healthy coping skills to manage the emotional struggles that life brings and to find a place of peace and well-being. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
