I earned my undergraduate degree in Spanish Literature and Education from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, and went on to complete my master’s in Counseling at Wayne State University in Detroit. My Journey Before becoming a full-time counselor, I spent 15 years as a Spanish teacher and school guidance counselor, which deeply shaped my holistic, educational, and client-centered approach. Over the past 12–17 years, I’ve worked in diverse settings—from community mental health agencies and refugee camps to schools, residential care, and private practice—serving individuals and families from all walks of life.
