Getting to know Kimberly Weisberg

I am passionate about developing safe, meaningful relationships to help you explore challenging belief systems that may be getting in the way of you becoming and feeling your best self. With over 20 years of experience working with youth and adults, I specialize in helping women navigate various life transitions to overcome their circumstances. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, which informs my approach to care. Using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to your individual needs, I can help you transform thought patterns that may contribute to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or that have resulted from trauma, grief, and loss. I particularly enjoy supporting women in finding a healthy work/life balance and assisting mothers in building stronger relationships with their children. I love building relationships with people; therefore, through a strength-based and collaborative approach, we will work together to identify tools that enhance your communication skills, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will provide you with a safe space where you can express your thoughts and feelings openly, where you feel validated and where you feel at ease. I believe communication and connection are extremely important in a therapeutic relationship and therefore I encourage you to ask me any questions you may have or voice any concerns. I am here for you!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
