My name is Kimberly Yantuche-Hernandez, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, specializing in anxiety, panic attacks, mood disorders, stress, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, anger and impulse control, relationship problems, and self-esteem challenges. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Managing and Adaptive Practice (MAP), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and play therapy to support my clients. My approach is to create a culturally sensitive, nonjudgmental, and safe space where clients can freely explore, express, and work through their feelings and emotions. Together, we focus on strengthening self-esteem and achieving personal transformation. I am dedicated to fostering a platform where clients can communicate their current life stressors and triggers while learning about themselves and their capacity to grow and heal. I communicate empathetically to help clients feel heard, acknowledged, validated, and praised. My journey to therapy has been driven by a lifelong passion for helping others. I have advocated for individuals, volunteered in schools and communities, interned as a graduate student, and worked at nonprofits serving underserved and unrepresented minority populations. Supporting and uplifting those around me to recognize their strength, perseverance, and potential has been a meaningful part of my life. I am grateful to have aligned myself with a career that allows me to continue helping, advocating, and serving those in need of support.
