Hi! My name is Kinsey Igo, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for the State of Massachusetts. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas. My background includes an in-depth knowledge of the impact of trauma and experience working with individuals struggling with mental health. In sessions, I will help guide you through the process of developing new coping skills that you can utilize to begin working toward your identified goals.
My passion is helping you make positive changes that encourage you to strive toward building your ideal life. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of genuine connection and seek to provide an environment of compassionate understanding. Within my practice, I incorporate a person-centered and strengths-based approach and utilize techniques from Gottman, CBT, and TBRI.

I specialize in supporting individuals through various forms of grief, depression, and anxiety due to significant life transitions. I am also deeply committed to helping clients heal from trauma. Our work together will focus on processing traumatic memories and alleviating associated pain and shame, using tailored therapeutic approaches to address your specific needs and promote healing.

My approach involves a personalized assessment to grasp your specific situation and goals. I integrate evidence-based methods like cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and narrative therapy to address your struggles directly. We work together at every step to ensure that the therapy aligns with your individual path to well-being.
